My friend got a seat in 7th round he wants to apply for special round. did the seat he got will remain for him or not?

Hello Aparna, if you donot take admission in the college offered in 7th round, you will be withdrawing from the JOSAA process, and you lose the seat along with the counselling fees paid to JOSAA too. However you have a chance of getting a seat in special round since it is done by CSAB for allotment into the vacant seats after the JOSAA counselling. It is a total fresh process.

Both of ur answrs are completly dfrnt what if we dnt get a seat in spcl round?

dear aspirant,

Yes if you had freezed the seat without reporting you are eligible for special round.

You have to go through entire process of new registration of CSAB  and seat you have frozen will remain for you and if you fail to obtain a seat in special round you can be alloted to the seat you have froze before.
