First of all there is no provision for the admission on the basis of your friends mark if your  friends dmr is  is 24888  then you  I cannot get admission on the basis of your friends and only your friend can get admission on the basis of this rank  considering that this is not your friends but your rank then your GMR rank is too less to get any of the core branches ( cs/IT/ENTc) because there cutoff is below 2500 in a final round. Also the lowest cutoff is gone for printing engineering (7446) in final round. The chances of you to get any branch is very low. You can apply for other private institutes.
