My Gate rank and score in Gate 2019 Electrical Engineering is 1855 and 711 respectively.What are my chances of getting selected in any psu?

Hello Lakhan,

Congratulations for qualifying GATE with a rank of 1855.

Coming back to your question PSU selection solely depends on the number of vacancies which is less this year as compared to last year.  So your chances are low, but if high rank people don't join PSU or opt for PG you will have a chance. So apply for the jobs in your domain.

Also your rank Is good for pursuing M.Tech from a top grade college.

 Thank you for replying to my question.I'm sorry as I forgot to mention my category.I belong to SC category ,so will there be any alteration in your suggetion.

Even for SC category a rank below 1000-1200 is required for PSUBut here's a good news you can choose M.Tech in IIT's as you're from SC at this rank your selection is confirmed.Apply for TA positions in IIT
