Congratulations on your GATE rank! 

Since you haven't specified your branch so let's look at the chances you have with this score in general.

If you want to pursue academics further you can apply for IITs but new ones,  whereas in old IITs chances are less with this score but you can try for any interdisciplinary branch there. For getting admission into an IIT you have to register in the site of the respective IIT and in the COAP as well (the COAP registration link will be activated from the first week of April) to ensure your seat there. You can also apply for MS in IITs if you are interested as it is a kind of research-oriented programme.

You can expect a good branch in the top NITs. And in that case, you will have to apply to the CCMT counseling process. Their registrations will commence from 1st week of April. After choice filling and locking, they will release their first, second and third lists of counseling and then finally the National spot round.

You can even go for other CFTIs, IIITs or any top state government college if you don't get a branch of your choice or as per your convenience. These institutes will conduct their own counseling and take admission through GATE scores along with any other criteria if they will have.

Now if you want a job using your GATE score then you can apply for central or state PSUs according to the number of vacancies they release. You can apply to them, and after that, you will be short-listed according to your GATE score and other criteria(if they have any). Each PSU will have their own set of rounds like Group Discussions, Personal Interviews, written tests etc further to qualify in order to secure a job there.
