Hello,

According to previous year cut-offs and toughness of paper this year following are the predictions for the cut-off:

Electrical Branch -

General - 24 to 26

OBC - 22 to 24

SC/ST/PWD - 16 to 18

According to this, you will easily get qualified. Although it is tough to get admission in good IIT. Most probably you will get NITs may be you won't get top NITs but still in some of them you will be able to mange a seat. It becomes quiet difficult to get seats for general category candidates but you should not loose hope. You may put your first preference in your home state so that you may get preference over other state candidates.

I think you should explore other options. I think you can easily get other PSU's according to cut-offs.
