gate exam is a all india level examination. many psu's hire through gate rank. and you can also do your mtech from iits or nits based on your gate score. you didnt mention your category. i assume you are from general category. wnd also you didnot mention your stream. however for old iits this score is low for any subject of any stream. you can apply for barc,  bsnl where gate rank is required. and they also have separate examination. you can also apply for mtech in vit, bit ..hope it helps.
