Hey.
The last rank to get admission in NIT Surathkal in the previous year under the Home state quota was a rank of 3928 and under the outside state quota was a rank of 1767 in the CSE branch. For admission in NIT Trichy the last rank for CSE in Home state quota was
4041 and under the other state quota was 1140
Considering your rank in the general category you don't seem to have much chance in CSE branch for these NITs. You do have a fair chance for other branches and for CSE in other NITs.
