My jee exam is on 8th April .is it possible to score 150+ in a week preparation?
Hello
If your basic concepts are clear, you should make an effective study plan for your preparation. Practice previous year question papers and mock tests and focus on the topics which carry more weightage in the exam.
It has been analyzed that in the JEE Main exam, 71 percent questions comes from 22 percent of the syllabus so you should focus more on these topics.
You can enroll for the JEE Main Rank Booster for preparation-

It is time to use the short notes that you made during the intense preparation for the past one or two years. Check the important topics, formulae and in short revise. Ideally analyze while you revise. This will help you to strengthen any point you are weak in.

Hello Jafarulla!
It is almost impossible to score 150+ marks by a week's preparation. If you have prepared well yet and you are looking to practice or revise stufd then maybe you stand a chance otherwise there is no chance of getting 150+ at all. Don't target marks as of now. Just pick some repetititive topics from previous year and practice them. Still you'll get few GFTIs in local level counselling.
Hope that helps!
Hello Jafurulla,
You have to properly follow a plan and schedule according to the plan.
For this firstly you have to learn time management. Time management is very important to crack any exam. You should learn to manage time. Focus more on those subjects or topics which you find relatively tuff. Devote time to every subject.
You will be knowing all the questions when you will be appearing for JEE but time management is very important. Start practicing JEE level questions as it will give you an idea of exam pattern and solving questions effectively and efficiently. There are a few tips for you -
- Make a subject wise plan and strictly follow that plan . Subject-wise plan with important chapters must be identified with taking help from teachers/ experts in case one wishes to plug loopholes.
- Focus on improving your problem-solving speed, which requires continuous practice. Drill yourself with regular numerical problem practice. By the time you go for the actual exam, you will have developed a knack for recognizing the type of problem at once, just by looking at it.
- Start giving mock tests and solve previous year question papers and sample papers.
- Solve at least 40-80 numerical problems daily which includes physics, chemistry and, mathematics. Set time limits for questions.
- Practice to improve the speed of problem-solving. Start with the difficult areas first.
Just go through the periodicals in general and read NCERT for Inorganic Chemistry. For the Organic part, first, build up your all basic concepts and then start doing lots of practice. And for Physical part, practice as many numerals as you can.
Avoid selective study in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the number of questions are more in the objective papers where there is an intermingling of concepts from various topics.
Good luck!
Hi,
Hope you are doing well, I understand that there is only 1 week left for the jee mains exam. U need to follow some tips at this time to make best of yourself. Here they are:
- Don't study any new topic at this period of time
- Revise important topics only as you are aiming for 150+
- Analyze the marks you get in your Mocks again
- Don't study for long hours at a time instead take constructive breaks of 10 min to increase your focus level
- Make sure you have sound sleep because it is only one that makes you memorize all the things you studied that whole day
- Don't get tensed at the end about the exam and get ready prior to the day of the exam with the identification proof, pen, pencil, clothing, etc.
- Revise All the Formulas and Theorems
-
Don't neglect food in the process of preparation
- Don't study anything new before or on exam day
- Make sure you reach the examination centre before 1 hour of the exam
Don't Panic. Believe in yourself strongly that you can do it. Hope this would help you to get ready for the grand finale(Jee Main). Any queries are always welcome.
I think it helps you!!!
