You are getting 45-50 marks in JEE Main. Corresponding to 50 marks your percentile would be 78 approximately while the percentile corresponding to 75 marks would be 70 approximately. You can check the following link to know the marks vs percentile analysis of last year:

The previous year cutoff percentile in JEE Main to be Qualify for JEE Advanced for an OBC category candidate was 74 percentile. Therefore if you would get marks around 50 then you will qualify for JEE Advanced and for marks 45 or less you will be in trouble. Hope you understand it.
