My jee main rank is 18748 and jee advance rank is 7240 .My category is open. What will be possibility for me

Congratulations 

You will be able to get admission in both IITS and NITs. In my opinion you should go for nit because you can't be able to get good branches in top and old IITS with your rank(7240). but you can get a descent branch in some top nits like:-

  • Nit Allahabad
  • Mnit Jaipur
  • Nit Jamshedpur
  • Nit Rourkela
  • Nit Calicut

You can take admission in any one of the above, all are one of the best colleges.

Hello dear aspirant

Congratulations on getting a good rank in JEE Advanced
Your JEE advanced rank isn't enough to get you a seat in IIT. You may definitely get a good government college, may be the less popular NITs,  based on your mains rank.
So you should try to get admission based on mains rank.
