It is written in the FAQ section of JEE Advanced that you cannot change your category during registration and also you cannot change it for JoSAA counselling. So you have to go forward with general category. But you can try mailing the authorities of JEE Mains to see if they can help with it or not. If not then you will be treated as a general category student.
