The two criterias for getting admission in nit or iiits or in iits are:
1. You must be in top 20 percentile of your respective board
2. You must have scored atleast 75 percent in your board if you are a general or obc candidate, for sc St candidate you must have 65 percent in boards.
If you are from Cbse board then you fail to satisfy these criterias and although you qualified Jee, but you won't get nits or iiits
Hope it helps.
Hello aspirant.
To become eligible for JEE mains examination , candidate need to score minimum of 75% in the qualifying examination.
75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board.
All the best.
There's no benefit for you if you apply for JOSAA counselling as your class 12th board percentage is not 75% and also your jee mains percentile score is a bit low to get admission in any NITs or IIITs. Try for private colleges rather.
Good luck.
