With your average performance in MHTCET and a merit number of 40000, there may be very few colleges accepting admission. Since you belong to Special Backward Classes merit list number 4500, you might have a chance. You can try in Sinhagad College of Engineering , Pune or Government College of ENgineering, Karad or you may try low tier colleges like Sri Sant Gadge Babe College of Engineering, Sharad Institute of Technology, etc. Hope this helps!
