My mhtcet State rank is 1 lakh 40 thousand and my home university rank in 14000 so I want admission in my home university only through cap round so which rank is important for me

In MHT CET (CAP), there are two types of ranks state General Merit Rank (SGMR) and Home University Rank (HU Rank). Since you want admission within your home university like in Nagpur University, Mumbai University, etc., the Home University Rank (14,000) is the one that will matter the most during CAP Round 1 & 2.
Colleges under your home university reserve a certain percentage of seats for HU candidates, and those are filled using the Home University Rank.So don’t worry about your state rank (1.4 lakh) too much, because for your preferred location, HU rank is more important. Just make sure you apply on time and choose the right preference order.
