Hello Candidate!!

First thing I should clear you on the basis of JEE Mains Marks, You can get Admission Only in NITs, GFTIs, IIITs and Private Colleges.
For IIT, You have to clear JEE Advance with better rank.

With 8800+ rank under SC Category, You already know that reservations are there but many have scored higher than You also. Might they will get the seat but maximum drops and take the admission through JoSAA Counselling, which can provide you a Good chance.

You can also enroll in JoSAA Counselling and it will let you get the top Branches in Good NITs, but You should put an alternative too aside because if you didn't get seat then, You should choose that one.

Otherwise your whole one year will get wasted.
According to me, with this rank you can get NITs, but again the lower Branches You will get and Placements are also not very good in that.
So, Try to take Admission through JoSAA Counselling or in Top Private Colleges, which provides Better Placements.

I am providing You the link through which you can see all the Colleges you are eligible for:

Good Luck and Best Wishes for Future !!

At first lots of congratulations for your results .

According to trends of previous years and this year's JEE MAIN cut off I am afraid to inform you that your chances of getting admission into colleges NITs and IITs are very tough. However You can try in state level counselling and private colleges .  But if you have any other category rank like ST  there may be chance for him .One thing is very important that admission in those above mentioned category entirey depends upon that particular category rank , not the All India rank.

Some of NITs you can get by your home state quota are

NIT BHOPAL

Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering

NIT CALICUT

Bio technology

chemical engineering

civil engineering

electrical engineering

production engineering

NIT DELHI

electronics and communication engineering

NIT TIRUCHIRAPALLI

Metallurgical and material engineering

You have not mentioned your state

you can check previous years cut off
