You didn't mention your category but I'm afraid if get government colleges with 255 marks. The cut offs for BDS is more than 400 usually and this year it's expected to rise as well.
You can try for private BDS colleges, you'll get some for sure. Hope this helps you, good luck!

It depends upon which state you belong to and your category. For states like Telangana, cut-offs for these courses can go quite low even for a UR candidate. If you belong to reserved categories, it might be possible for you to get a seat in either of the above courses. If you belong to UR, you are more likely to get BVSc than BDS in government college.
