You haven't mentioned the State you hold the domicile of. But going by your profile, we understand that you belong to Nagaland. And Nagaland has no Private Medical College. This make a huge difference because Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. So this is where you have an opportunity, to try for Management Quota seats for applying in the State Counselling. Now even though you have ST reservation, when you are applying for other State Counsellings, you only have to apply under Other Categories but not Reserved Categories. With that, 236 becomes a very less score for a seat in Private Medical College. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that. But if you have decided about studying Medicine, you have to reappear for NEET in 2021 and score real good. That will be the only option because with this score, you cannot even get Private Medical Colleges. So you may have to consider appearing for NEET 2021.
