Hi,

In KCET, 50% of 12th board marks out of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) is considered and 50% of marks of KCET is considered. So if you scored 90% in 12th board and (95-100)/180 in KCET, you would easily get around 3,000 rank. The cutoff ranks for every college and program varies. For ex, if you want to do BE Chemical Engineering from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore, maximum closing rank is around 1,700.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!
