Percentile represents the number of candidate from whom you have scored well. in your example suppose you have got 43.71 percentile it means that you have scored better than 43.7 1% of the candidate who have appeared in this exam.

suppose there are hundred candidate in this exam then your rank would be hundred -43.7 % of hundred, that is 66. Similarly if the number of candidates increase you can calculate your rank.
