You have not mentioned your category and state. Assuming that you belong to general category you may have chances of getting seat in NIT, Trichy based on 2019 cut off. The cut off was as follows
- Home state: 2468
- Other state: 1075
Considering this you may get seat irrespective of your category and the state you belong to. But cut off may increase or decrease in 2020 depending on difficulty of exam, number of candidates appeared, number of seats available etc.
Of course you will get there is an also chance to better that i.e top NITs from previous analyse but can't complete say with full surety as on competition and high score the ranks may get deviated so don't lose hope you should try for top three or five NITs. Best of luck
