Well considering the past year cutoff for computer science in  IIEST shibpur its difficult to get a seat. The past year cutoff rank was 16940 for computer science after commencement of the 7th round.You can easily get a seat in IT there. But well it also depends on the students appearing and taking admission in IIEST. All I could say is wait till the cutoff list comes and also try for the vacancy rounds.

JEE MAINS has always been very competitive and according to the last year cut-offs(2018), IIEST Shivpur closed it's Computer Science seats at 10,056 for gender neutral round 7. For Girls only, the cutoff rank was 16,940(round 7). Now every year the cutoffs vary, but finally the rank may not increase to over 21,000. But we can hope for the best, and apply, just in case. Also, you can apply for other good colleges, and set a preference list, so that you get a combination of the best college and the branch of your choice. Don't lose hope of getting admission in IIEST Shivpur, because there is still a small chane that the cutoff rank increases. For setting the preference list you have to prioritise branch or the class of the college, and then according to that, set your preferences. That is, if the college is more important to you than the Branch, then set choose the college, and then the branch in that order, and vice-versa if that is the case.

At your rank i.e 21024 it is difficult to get CSE at IIEST shibpur but you can get IT in shibpur. 

But if you belong to West Bengal Home state then you can get CSE in iiest shibpur. 

The least year cut off for CSE other state was 12K amd for Home state it was 16K . But you can get IT branch in IIEST shibpur.
