Physics is very important as it helps us to know how nature works.
First of all have good strength on Mathematics subject.
This is because physics requires lot of mathematics.
Read standard books. For example HC Verma
Relate your studies with practical life, that will make physics more interesting and you could remember everything.
There are many good lectures on YouTube, watch them as an assistant to your studies.
