My provisional merit status is : All India merit no 5458 in MHCET merit list what does this means? Will I be able to get any college ?

Hi Aniket!

There are few seats reserved for All India Candidates in every college. For admission in these seats all india rank is given. Suppose you got a college in a cap round(obviously that would be through state rank) and if you can get the same cllg through all india rank then it ll be given to you via all india rank and the previous seat ll be left for someone else, i.e the state rank one, in this way you will get the same college and one more seat is left for another candidate.
