You have no chance, in my opinion, of getting a seat. However, if you belong to a different caste, you might have a better chance.
I don't believe so, but in the end, it all boils down to category. GIT is a leading engineering college in North Karnataka, as evidenced by the fact that many persons with ranks ranging from 5k to 15k pick GIT.
