Considering the previous year cutoffs for various branches at IIIT Allahabad and considering for a general category student, the closing rank for Electronics and Communication engineering at IIIT Allahabad was 11198, whereas the closing rank for Information technology engineering was 6364. Since your rank is 25980 which is quite above the cutoff ranks of various branches, I guess you may not get a seat in IIIT Allahabad. But according to your rank, you can try getting a seat in several other NITs which I guess you can get.
