Hello there,
You haven't mentioned your home state. Being from the general category, it's very difficult for you to get a seat in the NITs for CS. Analysing the previous year data, you have negligible chances of getting into any NITs. You may or may not get in some lower NITs. Don't worry, you can still get many good private colleges with this rank. You should apply for some state counseling.

You can check the cut-off ranks of all the NITs from the link given below:

Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.

You can use our college predictor to predict the best college for you:

Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!

Hello Student,

A rank of 47367 in CRL is a low of a rank. Due to the competition increasing by the minute everyday, the need for scoring higher marks and scores keep increasing more and more. Hence, unfortunately you might not be able to get a seat in reputed universities such as IITs, NITs and IIITs.

Since you have mentioned that you belong to the Gen category, the chances of you getting into some some of these universities are a bit tough.   Computer Science Engineering is a course that is very much in demand and much sought after course and the chances are very low.  There are some other universities into which you have a good chance of getting into. Hence I would suggest you to apply for other universities.

Some other good universities would be:

1. SSN College of Engineering, Chennai

2. SASTRA Deemed to be University, Thanjavur

3. Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh

4. Delhi University

5. Shiv Nadar University

6. VIT, Vellore

7. Manipal Institute of Technology
