The home state refers to that state in which the student has completed her/his class XIIth. If the student is going to complete her/his class XIIth and give the examination of class XII board in Telangana, then the home state or the local status would be considered to be that of Telangana.

So, likewise you can get the benefits of the home state quota for the colleges which are situated in Telangana. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
