Marks do not matter what matters is your rank and depending upon your rank you can definitely get a seat in civil  and mechanical both of many iits though they may be newer one's although iit is always an iit you also stand a chance in older iits but there you will get branches like biotech and ceramic and all but yes definitely you can sit in counselling and hope for the best you can predict you college using this link
