Being a general category student its a bit difficult for her to get NITs/IIITs/GFTIs.But you must apply for JOSSA counselling.You might get seats after few rounds of counselling.

Also she can get top govt. state engineering colleges on the basis of JEE score.From this year all state candidate can take admission through JEE.

Hii.The percentile is good.But the rank is bit high.
As per the previous year cutoffs you have a tough chance of getting medium ranked NITs, even if you get it you will get the lower branches.You should apply for other lower ranked NITs such as NIT Patna, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Durgapur,etc.and some IIITs such as IIIT Jabalpur, IIIT Nagpur, IIIT Pune.etc.
