Hello Guardian !
Do convey my heartiest congratulations to your son upon notching a wonderful score of 622 in NEET 2019.
In order to answer your question, we would have to look at the statistics as of the previous year.
In 2018, the last candidate to enter through the gates of Grant Medical College had a score of 607 and an AIR of 1122.

Following this trend, a score of 622 can easily help your son to procure a seat in there.
But as far as this year's paper is concerned, it's level was comparitively lower than that of 2018, adding to it the, the sudden burst of number of Examinees might just the raise the cutoff.
But as far it is concerned as of now, I would consider your son to be on the safe side.

Follow this link to have a better idea about the cutoffs :

Hope this helps.

All the Best !

Hello Yamini,

Your son has done his exam quite well.
With a score above 600 you can easily get into govt colleges through the AIQ and state quota both.
According to previous trends the cut off was around 544 for 70% regional seats and 603 for 30% state quota for unreserved categories for the college you have given above
If you belong to the reserved categories you may have better chances than general category.

Try out the college predictor what other college options your son may have according to the score he is expecting.

Hii Yamini
As per the experts the level of NEET exam was from easy to moderate level so there will be a slight increase in cut-off marks this year so based upon your son's marks his chances of getting a seat in grant medical College through all India quota is quite good.i hope this information helps you.
Thank you

Dear Yamini, you havent mentioned your son's Category. Neverthless, in 2018 under All India Quota, the cut off for General Category itself has been 607. So irrespective pf the Category, with 622 marks he has a decent chance at a seat in this college. Having said that, cut offs do change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.
