Yes he can get seat in various colleges in india through jee mains score as many college accept reserve seats for foreign national students.
NITs have some reservedseatsforNRI students under the DASA scheme. The number ofseats inDASAquotais 15% of the totalseats inthe institute. Currentlyadmissionsin DASA/ CIWG seatshappen on the basis of SAT scores, but from 2021, it will be on the basis ofJEE Mainrank only.
Still he may get admission based on JEE score.

Yes mam. Your son is eligible for NRI quota and he can apply to NITs through qualifying in JEE mains.He has to submit a proof of american citizenship
