My son got 98.99 percentile in JEE Mains Test in Jan 2019 in General category. What possibility can be of getting NIT, whether top NIT get.

Your son's percentile score is extremely very good.!
Well, based on the percentile that you've mentioned, he can easily get admission in the top NITs under his choice branch. As his rank comes around 10 K and so he can get into top institutes. However, the rank may vary with the actual one depending on the number of candidates appearing in the April session of JEE Mains exam. The final cutoff percentile will be released later after the April session exam.

Congratulation to you for this score .According to your percentile your general rank would be around 9000. From this percentile you will get all the top NITs. But getting top branches in top nit might be difficult for you, from this percentile.

You must work hard for jee advance. And also work hard for April mains to improve more.
