My son obtained 4279 rank in jee main paper 2 & belongs to SC category. But obtained marks incbse 12 such as maths-38, phy.-comp, che.-49,

Sorry sir but for admission in any nit minimum 75 % marks is required in class 12th or to be in top 20 percentile of your respective board.
So, first he has to clear his physics exam and then next year , he has to again apply for the jee and then he can take admission if he satisfies the above criteria
