With a rank of around 1,00,000 in obc ncl category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the NIT's when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, the closing ranks for the NiT's were around 40,000 in obc ncl category under home state quota. So, for other state quotas, it will be much lesser than this. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
