Hi.

While filling choices you need to know the past-year cutoffs for the college and branch you are applying for. For instance, if you have filled NIT Surathkal for top 5 choices i.e. CSE, ECE, MECH, CIVIL, CHEMICAL in NIT Surathkal but their closing rank for first two rounds was under 500 ST Category rank then you will not be allotted any choices.
