Well, brother I beleive you can get into a medocre or at lower rank NIT

Owing to your category, you do have a chance of getting a seat into the NIT. But it would be easier for me to guide, if you ahd told your JEE mains marks and your preferred branch and Home state quota.

Still leaving that,

I would recommend you to prefer

1. NIT Hamirpur

2. NIT Jamshedhpur

3. NIT Jabalpur

These all are pretty old NIT's and have quite impressive alumni base, so I would recommend you to prefer these NIT's. Though, chances of your's getting into these NIT's are bit less but still you can make it in 6th or 7th round of counseling
