The category rank in WBJEE does not matter for the allotment of colleges. It is the GMR (general Merit Rank) that matters. So, according to the previous year WBJEE cutoff, in order to get Government Engineering Colleges in West Bengal through WBJEE, you will need a GMR of around 15K for the safe score for admission to government colleges. So, if your GMR is within the above rank, then you can easily get admission in Government colleges in West bengal.
