If you have PCM then you can appear for entrance exam appearing or passed 12th class like IIT JEE which is a National level Exam, University level Exams BITSAT, SRM and Manipal etc. or state level entrance Exam.

You can take CSE or IT branch in your engineering program to becoem Software Engineering.
