For starters, preparing from NCERT books is great but relying completely on NCERT for entire preparation for cracking JEE is just not enough. It is true that for clarity NCERT should be consulted first and then simultaneously other books should be taken in account for preparation. See if you prepare for JEE-Main strategically then yes NCERT Books will clear your concept, but you need to practice previous year question which will give you an idea of questions that you have to face in main exam. But there are some concepts which needs to be study apart from NCERT because they are of slight higher level but basic concepts is in NCERT , so you should also prefer some side books along with NCERT text books because you will get lot of different type of questions in it.
