Dr. Bala, NTA has mentioned that it is mandatory to mention name and date on the photograph. In the information bulletin, https://ntaneet.nic.in/Ntaneet/ShowPdf.aspx?Type=50C9E8D5FC98727B4BBC93CF5D64A68DB647F04F&ID=AC3478D69A3C81FA62E60F5C3696165A4E5E6AC4 it mentions the various reasons why a photograph might be asked for re-upload and not mentioning name and date is not one of them. And this is not just for this year but ever since NTA has been conducting NEET, JEE and other exams, the procedure for re-uploading the photographs has been the same. You cannot change the uploaded photographs until notified by NTA to do so.
