I used to read mythology and history which is not a usually recommended stream. However, because I read them with full interest I was able to improve my comprehension skills!

1) They enhance your knowledge of current affairs and help you form opinions on the same. Useful for later rounds (WAT, GD and PI)
2) They are more similar to RCs which come in CAT. Novels are rather voluminous.
