Hello Krishna

as you stated that you are in class 11. This is the right time to start your preparation for the NEET exam. As you have 2 full years in your hand. First of all, just understand the pattern of NEET exam. The total number of questions asked, negative marking, how many questions in each section of biology, chemistry, physics. When you are very well versed with the syllabus and exam pattern you are halfway done.

The key to crack the exam is the strong foundation of your NCERT. The NCERT holds a very important place in the exam.

Chemistry: Class 11, Class 12

Thus is a very important NCERT. You have to be very thorough with each and every line . Especially all the question, examples, and exercise. If you are done with this then you can refer Pradeep for question practice. Most important is the previous year question paper. It will make your thinking in the right direction that which type of question comes in the exam. You can follow Unacademy. You can also youtube videos of  HITS ACHIEVING, EXAM FEAR, mLEARNING.

Biology: Class 11, Class 12

The NCERT needs to be done 3-4 times with an understanding of each and every line. The diagrams and figures are very important. You can refer to Unacademy videos. You can also watch videos of Exam Fear, Toppr for doubt clarification. You can also refer MTG Objective NCERT @ your fingertip.

Physics: Class 11, Class 12

The concept needs to be understood with utmost accuracy. Only mugging up the formula can"t help in question-solving. You can refer H C Verma for a better understanding of the concept. You can solve questions from Objective Physics by DC Pandey. If you want to solve some great questions then you can refer Problems in General Physics by IE Irodov but after completion of all basic books.

Hello Krishna

Thanks for asking this question as it's very relevant.

As the key to clear this exam is strategy I can share a few tips with you for effective study

  • Always work on the basis which is possible only if you focus on NCERT books very much.Never jump to questions directly until and unless you have a command over that topic .
  • NCERT of biology is very important since most of the questions are asked directly from them .
  • Once you Are done with them try solving some basic MCQ books such as MTG NCERT on finger tips to polish your NCERT .By this you can also test whatever you have learned and judge your skills .
  • Once done with MTG go for dc Pandey in physics , arhiant or GRB for physical and organic chemistry .For biology and inorganic chemistry I would suggest you to keep on revising the same Stuff as tendency to forget theory us more in these subjects and also since questions are theoretic much MCQ practice is not required.
  • Also don't go for any other sources as too many source can confuse you and decrease your revisions which I believe is the key to a good rank
  • Lastly do solve as many previous years papers and join a good test series for 3hrs practice that would improve your accuracy with speed.

Don't worry and panic during preparation

If you have any further questions please feel free to contact.

Best wishes

Hello aspirant,

You can definitely score good in neet. After looking to this year cutoff you need to score 620+ for good college. You should start preparing from this year itself. Have proper time management. Practice more previous year exams. Divide time equally for all the subjects and study all topics as weightage of topics may variate with year. Try to focus more on biology as it has 50% of weightage. Study hard. You will surely attain good marks and end up getting best college.

Best of luck !!
