The total number of seats in the medical College in India is 55,000
The govt seat available are around 30455 and out of them for general category it is around 13000 seat. The information might not be accurate but is appoximate. You can refer to following link for more details.

The total number of seats in the medical College in India is 55,000
Now comes to your question according to total number of seats  under general category in India is around 13,500 it will be somewhat slightly vary
