The eligibility criteria for Mtech Biotechnology is the candidate must have passed with minimum 60% in B.E/Btech (Biotechnology / Chemical Technology/ Biochemical ) OR M.S or MSc in (Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Biosciences / Genetics / Life-Sciences)

The admission criteria is the candidate should be GATE qualified in Biotechnology or for non-gate students the criteria is the candidate must have cleared the IPU CET with qualifying marks. The admission is based on merit basis
