This problem can be solved easily by calculating the angle through the following formula:

Work Done = 1/2 Cθ²

Now, we already know the Work done from the question data,

So to calculate C, use the following formula:

C= πηr 4 /2L

Where r and L are radius and length of steel wire, η is the modulus of rigidity for steel wire, which is also given in the question

After getting the value of C, we can get θ by putting the value of W and C in the equation :

Work Done = 1/2 Cθ²
