Oxidane , Phosphane , Azane are the IUPAC name of which compounds ?

Hello Student,

  • Oxidane is the IUPAC name of the compound we are most familiar with i.e Water or H2O
  • Azane is the IUPAC name of Ammonia or NH3
  • Phosphane , is the IUPAC name of PH3 Which also belongs to group 15 like NH3.

The IUPAC name are not used commonly.
