hi,

If you want to do a Ph.D. in Geography, first you need a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks. You have to clear a Ph.D. entrance exam or qualify UGC NET/JRF. After that, you’ll attend an interview where you discuss your research interest. Once selected, you’ll complete coursework for 6 months to 1 year. Then you start your research, which usually takes 3 to 5 years

hi,

If you want to do a Ph.D. in Geography, the process is actually quite simple but takes time. First, you need to have a Master’s degree in Geography with at least 55% marks. To get admission, you usually need to clear a Ph.D. entrance exam conducted by the university or you can also qualify through UGC NET or JRF. After the entrance, there is usually an interview where you talk about your research ideas. Once you get selected, you will first complete coursework for 6 months to 1 year. After finishing the coursework, you have to submit your research topic and synopsis for approval. Then, you will start your research work, which generally takes around 3 to 5 years.
