Hey there!
Eevn if your friend was in General Category he or she would have been eligible for NEET as his or her average is 52%. According to the guidelines, one needs to score more than 50% aggregate in PCB to be eligibe. For candidates belonging to SC/ST or other Backward classes, the marks obtained in physics, chemistry and biology/ bio-technology taken together in qualifying exam be 40%.
