There has been a rise in the number of placements per year over the past few years. But most of the companies come looking for Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering and MCA branches. There have been very few(if not none) companies that have approached for other branches. Also, most of the companies have approached for a role in BPO/ Technical Support. There have been few notable companies that have come with other roles in mind. The cutoff has generally been in the range of 60%-65% in BTech.
