Placement for the academic session of 2018-19 was 94% in UPES, Dehradun. Out of a total of 3101 students, 2361 were opted for placements out of which, 2223 students got placed. A total of 585 recruiters visited the institute, including companies like Infosys, Deloitte, Amazon and many others. From school of engineering, 805 students out of 1243 got placed. 7% recruiters were for Oil and Gas.
For upstream branch (Oil), the highest package offered was INR 20.6 LPA and average package offered was INR 6.67 LPA by companies like meru and ONGC.
